Scenes of the Oregon Coast - Hwy 101

Along the Oregon coast there are some absolutely beautiful areas. We have traveled so far from just south of Reedsport up to about NewPort.

Below are a few pictures to show you some of the beautiful sites we have seen along Hwy 101.

This little seagull was just sitting on a ledge right in front of us when we stopped at an overlook area on Hwy 101.

The harbor seal below was actually at the same viewpoint area that the seagull was. We just looked down and there it was.

The harbor seals below were laying out on the beach at the campground we stayed at just north of Reedsport. We hiked a trail to the beach and they were just there relaxing.

The following pictures are examples of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. We stayed in the Waxmyrtle Campground in the Siuslaw National Forest.

The dunes run along the oregon coast in this spot for 40 miles.

See ya down the road !
