Unable to post for a while now

Hi Friends & Family,




As most of you know I have been unable to post due to a medical problem.

The problem is ATV stupidity!

On 5/4/2012 I bought a new Polaris 330 Trailboss and my first trip out to the
"Big & Nasty ATV Park" I broke my hand and wrist.  (yep, that IS the name of the place)

The hand had a hairline fracture seen at first visit & I was casted for 3 weeks.

The next visit showed a fracture of the Xyphoid bone in the wrist & it was recommended to keep cast on for another 3 weeks.

At that point the pain was not getting any better at all  and new xrays showed a cyst around the Xyphoid bone and a non healing fracture.  I was then put on the 'waiting' list for surgery.

Finally my surgery will be next week, Monday, 7/30/2012, and believe me I can't wait!  This cast has been on 2  1/2  months and I am going crazy with it.  Hard to button things with NO thumb. Hard to pull pants up and down with NO thumb. (Elastic was already my friend, now it is my best friend).......

Anyways, I plan to catch up on the blog postings (of which I have lots) as soon as healing is done and therapy is done.
